Creating An Artistic Environment In A Kids Playhouse
Watch a kids playhouse become an art haven with a little help from their closest buddies. Kids are regularily creating, imagining or making some type of art project. For many people, art is very therapeutic. Child love art and it holds a special place in their hearts. That’s one reason why your child can take their love of art to the max by hosting an “Art Show” or neighborhood “Art Gallery” right in their kids playhouse. Children’s artistic talents can be showecased with the following tips:
Invite people to be a part of the show. Encourage different art work themes or mediums if your child will be doing an art even on a regular basis. Otherwise, the kids should know that any type of art goes!
Get all the art work together. Create a space in the outdoor playhouse that is specifically set aside for organizing the artwork. You can do this by using crates, boxes or a table. Keep it fun and simple so the kids don’t feel like this is “work”.
Using recycled materials, have the children make display tags for each piece. Begin with using index cards supported by equally sized pieces of cardboard from cereal boxes. Use tape to post the art placecards near each submission.
Ask other people to see the art show! The space may be small in a kids playhouse, but parents will love knowing that their child’s art is on display. Invite other people in your neighborhood who may also enjoy viewing the art work.
Photograph each artist standing by their masterpiece. Plan, along with your child, to create a scrapbook or online scrapbook of the event that can be shared with everyone that you know. Your local newspaper may even be interested in covering the story for a community involvement piece.
Everyone involved will enjoy this awesome art show experience in your child’s outdoor playhouse. As the walls, shelves, and floor of this small structure becomes covered with paintings, sculptures, and crafts, your child is likely to think of their kids playhouse in different terms. Producing the art show could help your child to develop an understanding of process, organization, and possibly even a deeper appreciation for art!
