The sculpture of Bali lying dead in his mother’s arms can be seen in the Ajanta and Ellora cave sculptures.
Even the angle, the gesture of the hands is the same as that depicted in the “La Pieta” in the Vatican Museum of Rome…with Jesus lying in his mother’s lap.

Onlym Ellora is much more older than Mickey, and the reverse borrowing may be true,
