What colleges (undergrad) have a modern approach to architectural design?
I would really like to design very modern, abstract buildings like that of Frank Lloyd Wright and use computers as much as possible so I’m looking for colleges that have a sort of artistic approach to design using sculpture or digital media as inspiration/resources. Some schools I’m considering are UPenn, Notre Dame, Roger Williams, Northeastern, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Lehigh, Carnegie Mellon, Drexel, Penn State, and Temple so any info on those programs or others would be very much appreciated!
This would be like asking which art school takes a modern approach. While you obviously want a school which will respect modern design, the likelihood is that you will be studying all architectural periods in any school that you go to, because you will need to draw from the past in order to create the future.
