The eerie WW II Memorial temple at the Mall features an 18,161-pound black granite globe spinning on 1/8 inch of water. With the Sun shining upon its black mirror-like surface it becomes a ‘Night Sun’ or a ‘Black Sun.

It’s a permanent sculpture at the Nashville War Memorial Mall.
Very cool.
