Can I cook sculpey with human hair in it?
I’ve got a sculpture I’m making and I want to add hair to it. Would the oven fry it to an unworkable state? is there anything I could put over it to keep it braid-able?
The oven would most definitely burn the hair. Oven’s can often reach heats of roughly 300 degrees Celsius. I would not advise adding hair directly – however, you may be able to fashion a sort of “wig” from fabric, and add the hairs individually, then glue this to your sculpture. However, this may take hours of work, and would not be worth the hassle.
