Culturally speaking : Which ancient civilization do you admire the most which still influences us today?
I admire the most the Greek one cause first off you can visit and watch all the ruins and monuments or the beautiful islands even today.
Also i believe it still influences us even today since most Architecture is based on the Greek style , democracy , philosophy , mythology , all their inventions as drama , poetry , astronomy , Olympics ,streets , Sculpture, Theatre , Medicine , law , alphabet all started there.
Personally I would have to agree with you. The greeks were amazing people. A lot of things that they created we still have today. The Olympics are possibly my favorite part of the year when they are on. Mythology is my favorite part of any History or English class. All the stories that define the culture are all unique and really give us an insight to how they lived their lives. Although the Grecian alphabet is quite confusing, it’s really the start to all languages around the world. The Greeks helped shape a lot of civilizations and they still are. Really without the Greeks, we wouldn’t really be anywhere.
