I recently purchased a female bust by A. Giannelli and was wondering if anyone new where i could look up info
Does anyone know where I could look up info on the sculpture or on the artist. I would like to know who the woman is in the sculpture. Also I would like to know the value of the piece.
The artist, A. Giannelli, was an Italian master sculpture and the president of the “Alabaster Craftsman Guild” from 1953 until 1961. There are a number of his pieces on Ebay, including a female bust (item # 200014020171), and by doing a Google search in either the web or images with the words Giannelli Sculpture, you can find out more about other pieces of art by him and what they are worth. Perhaps you’ll recognize your piece. My source website is a forum where other owners of his artwork share information.
