Why does Thoth (Egyptian God) has a head of Ibis?
Is the head of ibis sculptured? Or is it a real head of ibis?
Many godforms include an animal form. For example, Zeus took the form of a white bull. The Egyptians chose to depict these forms.
So Thoth is a God and He is Ibis. Not AN Ibis, but THE Ibis…the pattern from which all Ibisii are formed.
