Where can I buy anatomically correct, scaled human skulls I can use for a head armature for sculpture?
I notice it’s a bit of a long winded question but instead of making my own, I wondered if you could buy skulls for an armature for a polymer clay head. They sell them in America but can’t find anyone in the UK. I’m making a jointed doll which is 1/3 human scale (about 60cm tall) and want something I can use as a base so as to get the facial features exactly right. This is the kind of thing I mean-

Besides that, why don’t you make your ideal positive model out of clay, then make a rubber mold, and cast all your pieces consistently and modify (if desired) just some personal features for each doll???????
