Why is Millennium Park in Chicago so totally AWESOME?!?
My husband and I went to Chicago for the weekend for a wedding and we even squeezed in some sight seeing. We walked through Millennium Park and drove by Navy Pier. I wanted to stop in Navy Pier but we didn’t have enough time. But we did manage to push and shove through the rowdy St. Patricks Day Parade crowd and see the art sculptures in Millennium Park. I was really impressed.
Millennium Park is pretty cool (even better in the summer) but dont fret about Navy Pier. It’s really nothing special (other than the IMAX theater).
It’s filled with restaurants and stupid trinket stores. You’re much better off spending your time having a vacation rather than buying souvenirs to remember the vacation you wasted at Navy Pier.
