Free Things to do Downtown Chicago?
My friends and I are thinking of going downtown this weekend, but were not sure of what we want to do.. we know we want to see “the bean” sculpture though. are there any other things that we could do for free? thanks!
Cloud Gate (the bean) is an attraction worth seeing but there is more to see for free in Millennium Park:

Walk north to Navy Pier…Admission is free but attractiuons aren’t. You can still walk to the end and back for free.

You can walk along the lake and beaches to North Ave and then cross Lake Shore Drive on the pedestrian bridge. Head north a little to Lincoln Park Zoo…free:

At the north end of the zoo adjacent to the bear area is the Lincoln Park Conservatory. Check it out for free:
