Does Anyone Know This Art Piece?
Heyy…my art teacher showed me an art piece today in class, so im trying to find it on the the internet…im taking art history (art 101). i thought it was called “The Seer” but i cant find anything like that. it was a greek sculpture of an elderly man. he was lying down and had his hand to his mouth. he was apparently watching some game or sport or something, and he knew the outcomes. the lesson from it was on truth and honesty.
does anyone know what this art piece is, or can anyone help me find it? thanks!
Try searching ” Seer, from the east pediment of the Temple of Zeus”. I’m pretty sure that’s what you’re talking about.
